Studios Atlas Ouarzazate Maroc, Morocco

Open daily for visitors, the ATLAS Film Studios was founded in 1983 by entrepreneur Mohamed Belghmi and is situated 5 kilometers outside of Ouarzazate at the gates of the desert. It was the first film studio to be located in North Africa and is the world’s largest film studio, with the site spread over a massive 20 hectares housing all of the necessary services and equipment for productions, including: interior sets, exterior sets, production offices, workshops, stables that house trained animals, and accommodation based in the Oscar Hotel. Some of the famous films that were filmed at ATLAS Studios include: Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, and more. The site has expanded since it was founded, this is due to the reliability of the climate and weather conditions, as the area can mimic the natural environments of many different countries around the world. For movie buffs who want to visit ATLAS studios, there are studio tours available at different times of the year that give visitors the chance to see a number of amazing and well-known movie sets and props.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour, London

For all of the Harry Potter fans, this is the perfect opportunity to explore the magic of the Harry Potter films. Consisting of a walking tour, visitors are able to go behind the scenes and view a vast showcase of sets, costumes and props that were used in the movies. While on the tour, guests will also have the chance to learn some secrets about the special effects and animatronics that were used in the making of the films, as well as see the real Great Hall, Dumbledore’s Office, the cobbles of Diagon Alley, the Gryffindor Common Room, and so much more.
