Benefits of Using Coffee Scrub

Most of us see our daily Coffee Scrub intake as nothing more than a wake-up call for our bodies. But did you know that coffee has some amazing benefits for your skin when applied topically?

We’re not talking about the leftovers of your morning grind here. When you mix up some quality coffee grounds with a few other natural ingredients, it turns into a super effective scrub that’ll help your skin look and feel better in a flash!

Using an organic coffee scrub can help take care of cellulite, boost your skin’s blood circulation, tackle puffy eyes and also help smooth your skin. Let’s have a look at just why you should be using a coffee scrub as part of your beauty regime…

How Coffee Scrub Benefits the Body It Soothes

A lot of body scrubs contain harmful ingredients that irritate the skin, enhancing preexisting skin conditions. When you make your own coffee scrub using some coffee grounds, salt, sugar, and olive oil, you’re mixing up a scrub that’ll help nourish and fight acne. The scrub gently removes dead skin cells without damaging  the dermis, leaving you with soft, smooth skin that looks and feels amazing.

It Exfoliates

Since most D.I.Y coffee scrubs are made with coffee grounds, sugar, salt, and olive oil, they make really great exfoliators. Try using a little Himalayan rock salt   and brown sugar to ensure you’re adding great natural minerals to the mix that’ll take care of acids and bacteria that can build up on your skin. Use your scrub by applying it in circular motions to get rid of dead and dry skin. This will unveil healthy-looking skin that’s nourished and fresh.

It Firms

Since caffeine has anti-inflammatory properties, it can help firm up your skin. This means that a coffee scrub works to target stubborn cellulite. It can also help minimize the appearance of puffy eyes when applied under and around the eyes. Caffeine helps reduce swelling and inflammation, and as such, it can also be used    to treat non-hereditary dark under-eye circles.

It Fights Signs of Aging

Caffeine is crammed full of good-for-you antioxidants, which is great news for those of you looking for a safe and natural way to fight the visible signs of aging. When applied topically as a face scrub, coffee can help get rid of fine lines and wrinkles and even lessen the appearance of sun spots.

It Brightens Skin Tone
